Kovil Home Stay
|

Kovil, as the name portrays, offers you homely accomodation in a traditional Hindu ambiance. The word itself literally means "Temple". Situated at Fort Kochi, one of the must see destinations, Kovil is very near to the Heritage Zone of Fort Kochi. The area locally known as Amaravathy, is a typical Hindu area, with the Amman Kovil Temple just opposite the home stay.

The ancestral home of home of the Ellikkal family, Kovil is hosted by Mrs & Mr. E.P. Satheesan along with their two daughters. The 80 year old traditional cottage, was inherited by Mr. Satheesan from his forefathers. Homely accommodation is provided in the two bath attached rooms of the traditional cottage, as well as in the adjacent modern building. The cottage, with tile roof and wooden ceiling, is an ideal place for a traditional living experience.

Kovil Homestay is very close to the Beach,
Synagogne, Dutch palace, St. Francis Church, Santacruz Basilica and the Chinese Nets. The home also has a small but beautiful garden to relax and enjoy the fresh air. The stay at
Kovil, is made more memorable with the traditional Kerala dishes, specially cooked by the lady of the house. |
